I was thinking the Sperryville start on the road bikes, yes. If we left town at 6:00, we could be climbing by 7:30. Sperryville, Thourton Gap, Skyland and back. Home by noon.
OK we would meet in town to drive the 1:20 min to Sperryville and do the 2.5 hour ride and drive home. I got worried when Twister jumped in and said he would meet us there. I can carry three bikes.
Shop at 6am! I think the park entrance fee is about $10. Dress in several layers, for it will be 15 degrees colder at the top. You will freeze at 30 mph descents. Can we get a head count?
What kind of mountains are we talking about? Mountain bike ride? Or road bike ride in the mountains?
ReplyDeleteSat or Sun?

ReplyDeleteIf we are talking Sunday, I can make it.
